A large country garden sensitively contoured across a hillside in South Taranaki making the most of the mountain and inland views including the adjacent 400 year old Puketarata Pa. Skilled blending of a diverse range of native & exotic plants, is a particular focus through the various garden rooms creating a garden which sits well in the landscape.

Puketarata’s garden planting is a mix of natives, rhododendrons, roses, the usual and unusual garden shrubs and perennials. An emphasis on greens and texture rather than all round colour.
